A Taste of Chicago with Every Sip!
The first description of 'the Cocktail' documented in a Chicago newspaper in 1803, later named the Old Fashioned in 1806, we've given homage to Chicago's oldest cocktail. Stir up the classical aroma of natural orange peels combined with cinnamon to complement the sweetness of your favorite Bourbon, a cocktail syrup that bites back with a lite spice of clove to give you a kick in your Whiskey.

Did you know our Good Old Fashioned Cocktail syrup is made with real cinnamon sticks? What this means for you is a high quality tasting product. But the real value is incredible memories made around the bonfire with your friends and family this camping season. We read a cooking article by Melt Chocolates that said the sweet woody taste of cinnamon makes it a perfect spice to pair with chocolate (s'mores anyone!?). Creating incredible memories to look back on with your family and friends is important to you, right?

Uncle Nearest Old Fashioned
Smells like a 'Good Old Fashioned'🥃 This came out smooth with a light bite. The Uncle Nearest 1884 is 93 proof so it already has a nice kick, but the mole smoothed it out and delivered a hint of spice. I walked away to grab my ramen order so when I came back the sphere was slightly melted and that sip I took was MF amazing!
- 2oz of Uncle Nearest 1884 Whiskey
- 1/2oz of Vanilla Infused Simple Syrup
- 3 drops of Mole Bitters
- 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Ciroc Old Fashioned
This was my first 'Quarantini' recipe. I made this Old Fashioned with a Brandy spirit. Because Brandy is so smooth and on the sweeter side I added some spice from Mole bitters and rounded out the Vanilla and Woodsy flavor of the Brandy with Chocolate bitters. The lemon garnish is really just for the photo.😎
Recipe:
- 2oz Ciroc Brandy
- 1/2oz of Simple Syrup
- 5 drops of Mole bitters
- 2 dashes of Chocolate bitters
High Fashioned
This automatically gets a 4 out of 4! Partially because I'm biased but this one is a banger!🔥 I call it "High" Fashion(ed). Willett Bourbon has a nice butterscotch and oak flavor itself, I added 5 drops of Mole bitters to help smack some of the sweetness from the THC syrup. It's chilled with an ice sphere and I'm ready for this Old Fashioned to take me to another level!
Recipe:
- Willett Pot Still Bourbon
- 1 teaspoon Orange Pineapple Guava 10mg THC/CBD
- 3 dashes of Angostura Bitters
- 5 drop of Mole Bitters
"Rep" Your Old Fashioned
So with this one I had plenty of time to play around with the complex flavor of tequila. I decided to use a Tequila Reposado and gave it a little "depth" with some chocolate bitters, and just a nice orange🍊 aroma in my cocktail glass. Chocolate and Tequila make an interesting couple. I was pleasantly surprised at how they blended so well together. Just a light sweetness from the simple syrup but definitely gave me more of a dessert type of cocktail. Really tasty!
Recipe:
- 1-1/2 oz. Espolon Reposado Tequila
- 1/4 oz. of Simple Syrup
- 2 dashed of Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes of Chocolate bitters
Lavender Old Fashioned
I've been mixing up these recipes for a little while now and they are 🔥 I added a lavender bitter that gives this Oldie an effervescent aroma. I mixed a "tinch" of vanilla for additional flavor and the couple marries well. I stirred in an ice cube to give it a nice chill and I'm now ready to drink! Cheers🥃
Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 oz. Old Grand-Dad Bourbon Whiskey
- 2 dashes of Lavender bitters
- 3 dashes of Vanilla bitters
- .5 oz. of simple syrup
- .25 oz. of water
