So with this one I had plenty of time to play around with the complex flavor of tequila. I decided to use a Tequila Reposado and gave it a little "depth" with some chocolate bitters, and just a nice orange🍊 aroma in my cocktail glass. Chocolate and Tequila make an interesting couple. I was pleasantly surprised at how they blended so well together. Just a light sweetness from the simple syrup but definitely gave me more of a dessert type of cocktail. Really tasty!
Recipe:
- 1-1/2 oz. Espolon Reposado Tequila
- 1/4 oz. of Simple Syrup
- 2 dashed of Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes of Chocolate bitters
